In this guide, you’ll learn How To Make A Perfume Oil that embodies passion and excitement. This easy-to-follow recipe combines sensual fragrance oils like cherry blossom, lavender, and clove, giving you a unique and exotic scent. With just a few ingredients, you can create a personalized perfume oil perfect for special occasions.

Not only does this perfume oil smell amazing, but it also adds a touch of shimmer and vibrant color, thanks to the mica and oil-soluble color powders. Whether you’re making it for yourself or as a gift, this perfume oil of passion is sure to captivate and leave a lasting impression.

Ingredients Needed

Choose high-quality ingredients to boost the effectiveness and safety of your DIY beauty products.

  • Sweet Almond Oil
  • Fragrance Oils: Cherry blossom oil, lavender oil, clove oil.
  • Mica Color Powder: It has a nice shine
  • Oil-soluble Color Powder: Fuchsia.
  • Vegetable Glycerine
  • Glitter (Optional)

Note: The perfume oil uses two types of coloring powders: Mica, which adds a subtle shimmer but may leave a residue at the bottom of the bottle; this is normal—just shake the bottle before each use. The second is oil-soluble color powder, which fully dissolves into the oil, offering consistent color throughout.

Why are we adding then the mica color powder if it doesn’t dissolve fully? Just for the beautiful shine and glittering look.

Tools Needed

  • Small stainless steel cup
  • Glass mixing rod
  • Toothpick
  • Small funnel
  • Small glass bottle with roll-on top, preferably 12 millimeters (0.4 fl oz)

Prior to use, ensure that both your utensils and containers are properly cleaned and disinfected. Wash them with warm soapy water, dry with a tissue, and then sanitize by spraying with 70% medical alcohol. Wipe them clean and let them air dry before use.

Steps: How To Make A Perfume Oil Of Passion

1- Begin by pouring 12 grams (0.42 oz) of sweet almond oil into a small stainless steel cup.

2- Add 1 gram (0.035 oz) of cherry blossom fragrance oil to the sweet almond oil.

3- Add 1 gram (0.035 oz) of lavender fragrance oil to the mixture.

4- Add 1 gram (0.035 oz) of clove fragrance oil to the ingredients.

5- Stir the mixture thoroughly to ensure that the oils are completely combined.

How to Use

a. Apply to pulse points: Dab or roll a small amount of the perfume oil onto your pulse points, such as your wrists, neck, behind your ears, or the inside of your elbows. These areas emit heat, which helps to diffuse the scent.

b. Massage gently into the skin: After applying, gently massage the oil into your skin. This helps the fragrance absorb better and makes the scent last longer throughout the day.

c. Enhance with hair or clothing: For a subtle lingering fragrance, add a few drops to your hair or lightly apply the oil to the edges of your clothing or scarf. The perfume oil can cling to fabrics, offering a longer-lasting scent.

d. Reapply as needed: The perfume oil is concentrated, so just a small amount is enough. You can reapply once or twice during the day if desired, but avoid overuse to keep the scent balanced.

Benefits

Long-lasting scent: Thanks to the rich carrier oil, your custom perfume oil will last much longer on the skin compared to alcohol-based perfumes.

Moisturizing: The sweet almond oil and vegetable glycerine hydrate your skin, leaving it soft and smooth.

Personalized fragrance: Combining cherry blossom, lavender, and clove oils creates a unique and captivating scent that’s completely your own.

Adds a visual touch: The mica color powder and optional glitter provide a subtle shimmer, adding a playful and glamorous effect to your fragrance.

Final Words

As you’ve seen, we’ve truly pampered this perfume oil of passion. We blended three fragrance oils to create a captivating scent, added mica for a subtle shine, and even sprinkled a touch of glitter for that extra sparkle—perfect for special occasions. Enjoy!
