Steps: DIY Vitamin C Night Cream
1- Add a 1/2 cup of orange juice to a bowl.
2- Add a full teaspoon of corn flour.
3- Mix the ingredients using a silicone or wooden spoon, till the corn flour is fully dissoved.
4- Perform a hot water bath. A hot water bath is done by placing the bowl in a larger pot of hot steaming water. This will gradually melt whatever is inside the bowl without causing it to burn. As the contents melt, make sure to mix every now and then.
When the contents start to turn a bit “creamy”, you can take the bowl out of the hot bath.
5- Add a 1/2 teaspoon of rose carrier oil.
6- Add a 1/2 teaspoon of glycerine.
7- Add 5 drops of orange fragrance oil.
8- Optional: Add one drop of orange food coloring and mix with the ingredients.
9- Cut a vitamin E capsule and squeeze the contents into the bowl and mix well.
10- Pour the contents of the bowl into a container for storage.
11- Put the container in the refrigerator to allow the contents to harden, and you’re all done!
Important: Store the cream in the fridge when not in use. Even with that, the cream will be valid for about a week, after which it has to be discarded.
How To Use: DIY Vitamin C Night Cream
To use your DIY Vitamin C Night Cream, start by washing your face with a gentle cleanser and patting it dry. Take a small amount of the cream and apply it to your face, neck, and decolletage. Gently massage the cream into your skin using upward circular motions, making sure to avoid your eyes. Allow the cream to absorb fully into your skin before going to bed.
The nourishing and rejuvenating ingredients will work overnight to hydrate, brighten, and firm your skin.
When you wake up in the morning, simply rinse your face with water and follow your regular morning skincare routine.
For best results, use the DIY Vitamin C Night Cream consistently as part of your nighttime skincare routine. You can store the cream in a cool, dark place for up to two weeks. Enjoy your healthy and radiant skin!
Benefits: DIY Vitamin C Night Cream
The DIY Vitamin C Night Cream offers a range of benefits for your skin.
Firstly, vitamin C is a potent antioxidant that can help protect your skin from damage caused by free radicals, which can lead to premature aging, fine lines, and wrinkles.
It can also help to brighten your complexion by reducing the appearance of dark spots, hyperpigmentation, and discoloration.
In addition, the other natural ingredients used in the cream, such as orange juice, glycerine, rose oil, orange essential oil, and vitamin E capsule, offer a range of nourishing and rejuvenating benefits. These ingredients can help to hydrate your skin, reduce inflammation, and promote collagen production, which can lead to firmer, smoother, and more youthful-looking skin. The cornflour also helps to create a silky smooth texture, which makes the cream easy to apply and absorb.
Overall, the DIY Vitamin C Night Cream is a natural and effective way to nourish and rejuvenate your skin while you sleep, leaving you with a healthy, radiant glow.
