In this do-it-yourself adventure, discover the art of crafting your very own DIY Solid Scrub Bar – a versatile creation that acts as both a scrub and a mild soap. Immerse yourself in the transformative power of natural ingredients as you embark on a journey to Renew Your Skin with Nature.

This step-by-step guide ensures you create a uniquely effective scrub bar, offering a gentle soap effect. Pamper your skin with love and care through the dual-purpose magic of our DIY Solid Scrub Bar, because your skin deserves nothing but the best!

Ingredients Needed

  • White sugar
  • Glycerine soap
  • Shea butter, odorless
  • Coconut oil
  • Jojoba oil
  • Grapeseed oil
  • Mica powder, pink color
  • Rose fragrance oil
  • Optional dried rose petals for decoration

Choose high-quality ingredients to boost the effectiveness and safety of your DIY beauty products. Also, where an essential oil is included in my recipes, I utilize either of two types of essential oils: pure, if added in drops, or diluted, if mixed in grams.

Tools Needed

  • Scale to weigh quantities
  • Medium-sized glass beaker
  • Large bowl
  • Large silicone spatula
  • Tablespoon
  • Silicone mold

Prior to use, ensure that both your utensils and containers are properly cleaned and disinfected. Wash them with warm soapy water, dry with a tissue, and then sanitize by spraying with 70% medical alcohol. Wipe them clean and let them air dry before use.

Steps: DIY Solid Scrub Bar

1- Cut up 112 grams (3.95 oz) of glycerine soap into cube pieces.

2- Put the glycerine soap pieces in a medium-sized glass beaker.

5- Add 8 grams (0.28 oz) of coconut oil.

6- Heat and melt the contents of the beaker in a bain-marie (hot water bath). A bain-marie is done by placing the beaker containing the glycerine soap and the oils in a larger pot of hot steaming water. This will gradually melt the contents. Avoid boiling.

While the soap and oils are melting in the bain-marie, we can prepare the remaining ingredients:

7- In a separate large bowl, put 50 grams (1.76 oz) of shea butter.
