Today we will make a soapy body scrub that has the fragrance of strawberry. It foams a bit but does an excellent job cleaning and scrubbing the skin. It can be made with any scent and color you like.
To make this product, please follow the steps properly and make sure to use the correct quantities as indicated below. Also, ensure that the ingredients used are of good quality. You will end up with a great product.
Items Needed

- White sugar
- Oil-soluble color powder
- Shea butter oil – This is a core ingredient as it hydrates the skin
- Strawberry essential oil
- Transparent shower gel – Make sure it is transparent so that you can make it any color you want
- Bowl
Measurements
- 250 grams of white sugar = 8.81 ounces
- 55 grams of transparent shower gel = 1.94 ounces
- 10 grams of shea butter oil = 0.35 ounces
- 4-6 grams of strawberry essential oil = 0.14-0.21 ounces
Steps To Make The Soapy Body Scrub
1- In a bowl, measure 250 grams of white sugar.
2- Add 55 grams of transparent shower gel into the bowl and mix.
Note: If you prefer the scrub thick, add more sugar.
3- Now, it is time to add the color. I will add about half a teaspoon of red oil color powder and mix it well.
4- Add 10 grams of shea butter oil and stir into the scrub mixture.
5- Finally, add the strawberry essential oil. For this quantity of scrub, add 4-6 grams of essential oil. Adjust the amount based on your preference and the potency of the essential oil.
6- Stir well so that the essential oil is incorporated well into the scrub.
7- Pour the scrub into a container. It is now ready to be used!
How To Use The Soapy Body Scrub
Using a popsicle stick, apply the scrub onto the skin and exfoliate. When you rinse it off, the skin will feel smooth and fresh!
In addition to exfoliating to remove dead skin cells, this scrub also foams up and cleans the body, leaving it well scented.
