Create your own perfume at home with just three simple ingredients! In this guide, we will show you how to make a nourishing creamy perfume with a lavender scent that is both luxurious and affordable.

Homemade creamy perfume is a great way to express your creativity and create a unique fragrance that is all your own. So, whether you’re looking to make your own perfume for a special occasion or just want to indulge in a little DIY beauty, this guide will show you how to make the process simple and enjoyable.

Ingredients Needed

Choose high-quality ingredients to boost the effectiveness and safety of your DIY beauty products.

  • Cream base. It is described as base because it is raw and pure, with no additives added to it. So it has no oils, extracts, color or fragrance added to it. It is meant to be a base to which you add your own additives to make the cream or lotion that you desire.
  • Lavender fragrance oil
  • Vegetable glycerine
  • Vitamin E capsule
  • Optional: Mica color powder. Since I am using lavender fragrance oil, I will use lilac or purple mica color.

Tools Needed

  • Scale to weigh quantities
  • Bowl and cup
  • Wooden popsicle stick
  • Glass mixing rod
  • Glass container to store the creamy perfume

Prior to use, ensure that both your utensils and containers are properly cleaned and disinfected. Wash them with warm soapy water, dry with a tissue, and then sanitize by spraying with 70% medical alcohol. Wipe them clean and let them air dry before use.

Steps: Create Your Own Perfume

1- Add 50 grams (1.76 oz) of the cream base into a bowl.

7- Add 1 gram (0.035 oz) of the glycerine. The glycerine acts as perfume fixative and makes the scent last longer.

8- Finally, cut a vitamin E capsule and squeeze the contents over the mix. Vitamin E has anti-oxidation and anti-rancidity effect and prolongs the life of our creamy perfume.

9- Mix the contents thoroughly.

10- Scoop the creamy perfume into a glass container. And that’s it!

How To Use: Create Your Own Perfume

To use your homemade creamy perfume, simply apply a small amount to your pulse points, such as your wrists, neck, and behind your ears. The warmth of your skin will help to activate the fragrance and release the scent throughout the day.

Because this creamy perfume contains nourishing ingredients like vegetable glycerin and vitamin E, it can also be used as a moisturizing body lotion. Simply apply a small amount to your hands and massage into your skin for a hydrating and aromatic experience.

One of the benefits of making your own creamy perfume is that you can adjust the scent to suit your personal preferences. If you prefer a stronger scent, you can add a few more drops of lavender fragrance oil to your mixture.

With just a little experimentation, you can create a luxurious and personalized creamy perfume that is perfect for any occasion.
