Are you on the quest for longer and thicker hair? Look no further than the natural power of DIY Hair Oil with Fenugreek. In this comprehensive guide, we’ll walk you through a step-by-step process to create your very own hair oil using the potency of fenugreek.

Say goodbye to thin and lackluster hair, and say hello to the potential of revitalized length and thickness. Discover the secrets that fenugreek holds for enhancing your hair’s beauty and strength.

Ingredients Needed

  • Fenugreek seeds
  • Coconut oil

Choose high-quality ingredients to boost the effectiveness and safety of your DIY beauty products. Also, where an essential oil is included in my recipes, I utilize either of two types of essential oils: pure if added in drops, or diluted if mixed in grams—For diluted essential oil, mix 1 gram (0.035 oz) of pure essential oil with 100 grams (3.5 oz) of sweet almond oil or jojoba oil.

Tools Needed

  • Bowl
  • Measuring cup
  • Tablespoon
  • Small silicone spatula
  • Small glass bottle to store your DIY Hair Oil with Fenugreek

Prior to use, ensure that both your utensils and containers are properly cleaned and disinfected. Wash them with warm soapy water, dry with a tissue, and then sanitize by spraying with 70% medical alcohol. Wipe them clean and let them air dry before use.

Spoon Measurement Terms

In some of our articles, and for non-liquid ingredients, we use the measurements ‘One Spoon,’ ‘Rounded Spoon,’ and ‘Heaped Spoon’, to measure the quantity of ingredients, rather than precise measurements in grams or ounces. This is because adding a little more or less of the ingredient does not affect the final product. Both tablespoons and teaspoons follow these guidelines. Here’s a brief explanation of these terms:

  • One Spoon: Fill the ingredient in a measuring spoon, leveling it with a straight edge.
  • Rounded Spoon: More than a level measurement, with the ingredient piled above the spoon’s edge in a rounded shape.
  • Heaped Spoon: The non-liquid ingredient is scooped as high as possible on a spoon.

1- Put one rounded tablespoon of fenugreek whole seeds in a bowl.

4- With a small silicone spatula, stir the ingredients thoroughly.

5- Pour the contents into a small glass bottle, and seal it.

6- The DIY Hair Oil cannot be used immediately. Wrap the bottle with a cloth and store it in a cabinet away from light for a duration of two weeks. This allows the fenugreek essence to infuse into the oil.

7- After two weeks, strain out the fenugreek residue using a sieve followed by a fine filtering fabric.

8- Now you can use the DIY Hair Oil. Whenever you want to use it, take the quantity you need, and store it back in the cabinet. Its shelf life should be six months.

How To Use: DIY Hair Oil with Fenugreek

By following these steps once a week, you can help promote longer and thicker hair over time.

Step 1: Application

  • Before your shower, gather what you’ll need: your prepared DIY Hair Oil with Fenugreek and a comfortable towel.
  • Apply the oil to your scalp and hair: Begin by parting your hair into sections to ensure even coverage. Using your fingertips or a cotton ball, gently apply the DIY oil to your scalp, massaging it in with circular motions. Continue distributing the oil along the lengths of your hair, paying attention to the ends.

Step 2: Massage and Wait

  • Massage your scalp: Once the oil is evenly distributed, take a few extra minutes to massage your scalp. Massaging not only stimulates blood flow to the hair follicles but also helps the oil penetrate deeply for maximum benefits.
  • Wait for 1-2 hours: After applying and massaging the oil, allow it to sit on your scalp and hair for a duration of 1 to 2 hours. During this time, you can wrap your hair in a warm towel to enhance the absorption of the oil.

Step 3: Shower and Rinse

  • Shower: After the waiting period is over, proceed with your regular shower routine. Use a gentle shampoo to cleanse your hair thoroughly, ensuring that all traces of the oil are removed.
  • Rinse and condition: Follow up with a conditioner to keep your hair hydrated and manageable. Rinse your hair well to ensure there’s no residue left from the oil.

Step 4: Enjoy the Results

  • Repeat weekly: For optimal results, incorporate this DIY Oil treatment into your routine once a week. Consistency is key to seeing the transformative effects on your hair’s length and thickness.

By following these steps, you’re providing your hair with the nourishment and care it deserves. Over time, the potent blend of fenugreek and natural oils will contribute to stronger, longer, and thicker hair that you can confidently flaunt.
