This is because adding a little more or less of the ingredient does not affect the final product. Both tablespoons and teaspoons follow these guidelines. Here’s a brief explanation of these terms:
- One Spoon: Fill the ingredient in a measuring spoon, leveling it with a straight edge.
- Rounded Spoon: More than a level measurement, with the ingredient piled above the spoon’s edge in a rounded shape.
- Heaped Spoon: The non-liquid ingredient is scooped as high as possible on a spoon.
We will prepare 30 grams (1.05 oz) of the DIY Lip Scrub
1- Begin by putting three heaped tablespoons of white sugar in a bowl.
2- Add 1 1/2 tablespoons (one and a half tablespoons) of sweet almond oil.
3- Mix thoroughly with a small silicone spatula.
4- With the tip of a wooden popsicle stick, add a tiny amount of food coloring powder. Since our lip scrub is mango-themed, choose an orange or yellow color.
5- Mix the color powder rigorously, and assess whether you wish to increase the color intensity.
6- Once you are satisfied with the color, add 4 drops of food flavoring, mango flavor.
7- Mix thoroughly the contents.
8- The DIY Lip Scrub is now ready. Scoop the scrub into a suitable glass container or jar. Enjoy!
