Introducing a natural way to address fine lines with Natural Botox Soap. This simple yet effective soap combines powerful ingredients to nourish your skin and help reduce the appearance of those early signs of aging.

By using frankincense oil, saffron, and shea butter, this natural soap works to rejuvenate your skin while offering a luxurious touch with rose fragrance and argan oil. In this article, I’ll guide you through making this soap to keep your skin smooth and refreshed.

Ingredients Needed

Choose high-quality ingredients to boost the effectiveness and safety of your DIY beauty products.

  • White or Transparent Glycerin Soap Base: Glycerin soap, known as melt and pour, typically comes in 0.5 – 1 kg bars or weights of 1 – 2 lb and is designed for easy melting. Once melted, you can add colors, fragrance oils, butters, carrier oils, and other ingredients to customize it. This pure glycerin soap has no additives and is available online or in soap-making specialty stores. Avoid purchasing from supermarkets or pharmacies, as they may not have the right type for melting.
  • Refined Shea Butter (Odorless)
  • Frankincense Carrier Oil: This can be purchased pre-made, or for a better option, you can make it at home as outlined in DIY Frankincense Oil Extract. Keep in mind that it takes about two weeks for the oil to be ready for use.
  • Argan Oil: Can be replaced with sweet almond oil.
  • Rose Fragrance Oil (Optional): While it can be used to add a pleasant scent, it is not advisable to include fragrance oil in a face soap. You can add it for a body soap.
  • Saffron

Tools Needed

  • Scale to weigh quantities
  • Small bowl
  • Stainless steel saucepan
  • Silicone or wooden spatula
  • Rectangular silicone soap mold
  • 70% alcohol
  • Knife to cut the soap after drying
  • Plastic wrap (cling film)

Prior to use, ensure that both your utensils and containers are properly cleaned and disinfected. Wash them with warm soapy water, dry with a tissue, and then sanitize by spraying with 70% medical alcohol. Wipe them clean and let them air dry before use.

Steps To Make Natural Botox Soap

This recipe makes approximately 600 grams (21 ounces) of soap, yielding about 8 soap bars. If you intend to use the soap on the face, it’s not advisable to add fragrance oil due to potential skin sensitivities. However, if the soap is intended for the body, you can add fragrance oil.

Mix Saffron, Argan Oil and Fragrance Oil

1- Place 5 grams (0.17 ounces) of saffron in a small bowl.

2- Pour 5 grams (0.17 ounces) of argan oil over the saffron.

3- Add 18 grams (0.63 ounces) of fragrance oil to the saffron and argan oil. This step is optional and depends on whether you intend to use the soap on the face or the body.

Prepare Soap Mixture

4- Cut 600 grams (21.1 ounces) of white or transparent glycerin soap base and place the pieces in a stainless steel saucepan.

5- Gently melt the glycerin soap base pieces using a bain-marie (hot water bath). To set up a bain-marie, place the saucepan in a larger pot of hot, steaming water. This method will gradually melt the glycerin soap without direct heat. Stir the mixture while it melts, and avoid letting it boil.

6- Add 10 grams (0.35 ounces) of refined shea butter to the melted glycerine soap.

7- Add 18 grams (0.63 ounces) of frankincense carrier oil and mix thoroughly.

Finalize the Soap

8- Pour the soap mixture into a rectangular soap mold, filling half of it only.

9- To the remaining soap mixture in the saucepan, add the saffron mixture (prepared earlier with saffron, argan oil, and fragrance oil, if used). Mix thoroughly.

10- Pour the colored mixture from the saucepan on top of the first layer in the mold. Pouring the saffron-colored mixture on top of the uncolored layer creates an appealing soap with beautifully intermingled layers.

11- Spray 70% alcohol on the soap surface to eliminate bubbles.

12- Allow the soap surface to cool slightly for 3-4 minutes to form a light crust on top. Then, sprinkle saffron filaments for a decorative touch.

13- Let the soap in the mold dry completely, avoiding any shaking or movement of the mold.

14- Once the soap in the mold has dried completely, gently remove it from the mold and cut it into appropriate sizes. As shown in the image, you can also add a few dried flowers for decoration.

15- While the glycerin-based soap bars are unused, wrap them in plastic wrap (cling film) to prevent condensation and maintain their quality.

How to Use Natural Botox Soap

a. Wet Your Skin: Begin by wetting your face with warm water. This helps open up your pores and prepares your skin for the soap.

b. Apply the Soap: Take the Natural Botox Soap, work up a lather in your hands, and apply it directly to your damp face. If you’ve added Rose Fragrance Oil, remember that it is not advisable for face soaps due to potential skin sensitivities; consider using it only for body soap.

c. Massage: Gently massage the lather onto your face using circular motions. Focus on areas prone to fine lines, such as around the eyes and mouth. This helps improve blood circulation and allows the beneficial ingredients to penetrate deeper into your skin.

d. Let It Sit: Allow the lather to sit on your face for about one minute. This gives the natural ingredients—like frankincense oil and saffron—time to nourish and tighten your skin.

e. Rinse Thoroughly: Rinse off the soap with warm water, ensuring that all the lather is removed. Pat your face dry with a clean towel.

f. Frequency of Use: For optimal results, incorporate this soap into your daily skincare routine. Consistent use will enhance the tightening effects and contribute to a more youthful appearance.

Benefits

Reduces Fine Lines: The combination of frankincense oil and saffron helps diminish the appearance of fine lines, giving your skin a smoother look.

Tightens and Tones: Regular use of the soap tightens and tones the skin, promoting a firmer, more youthful complexion, thanks to the properties of frankincense oil and saffron.

Enhances Radiance: The soap imparts a natural glow to the skin, making it look vibrant and healthy, with saffron playing a key role in enhancing your skin’s radiance.

Nourishes and Hydrates: Rich in moisturizing properties, it nourishes the skin while keeping it hydrated and preventing dryness, primarily due to shea butter and argan oil.

Gentle Cleansing: Designed for facial use, it cleanses the skin without stripping away essential moisture, making it suitable for all skin types, thanks to the glycerin soap base.

Soothing Effects: The soothing properties of frankincense oil and saffron can help reduce puffiness and irritation, leaving your skin feeling refreshed.
